About The Position
MultiCare’s Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements occupational therapy services for patients referred for inpatient or outpatient care. The role involves varied day-to-day functions and applies service orientation, analysis, and sound judgment to provide comprehensive occupational therapy care. The position is based in Mary Bridge Children’s pediatric network in Tacoma, Washington. The schedule is 1.0 FTE, day shift, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Pediatric experience is preferred.
Requirements
- State of Washington Occupational Therapist license.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric occupational therapy experience is preferred.
- At least one year of previous occupational therapy experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform effectively in stressful and emergency situations.
- Evaluate and re-evaluate patients, establish treatment plans, and modify plans based on patient needs and response to treatment.
- Provide treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient populations as directed.
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record.
- Communicate with patients, peers, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care.
