About The Position

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is hiring an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement occupational therapy services for referred inpatients and outpatients. The role includes varied day-to-day functions and requires service orientation, analysis, and sound judgment to provide comprehensive occupational therapy care. The position is based in the South Sound pediatric care network in Tacoma, Washington, and is part of an interdisciplinary program of seven Mary Bridge outpatient therapy clinics integrated with hospital and pediatric specialty programs.

The position is 1.0 FTE on a day shift, scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Pediatric experience is preferred. The stated pay scale is $49.36–$78.25 USD, with compensation influenced by factors including skills, experience, certifications, and education. Requirements

• State of Washington Occupational Therapist license.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of previous occupational therapy experience is preferred.
• Pediatric experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations, establish treatment plans, and modify plans according to patient needs and response to treatment.
• Perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient populations as directed.
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record.
• Communicate with patients, peers, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Perform effectively in stressful and emergency situations.
