About The Position

Arbor Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Glendale clinic as a 1099 Independent Contractor. This role is ideal for clinicians who value flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to build a caseload in a structured, clinic-based setting. Arbor Therapy is a trusted provider of therapy services across the East and West Valley of Phoenix, focusing on compassionate, evidence-based care to help clients reach their full potential. The clinic-based setting means no travel is required, offering a consistent and structured environment. Contractors benefit from flexible scheduling, autonomy in practice, a strong referral base for caseload growth, and a supportive team environment. Arbor Therapy is also expanding its AAC program and seeks clinicians interested in collaborative care to support communication and functional outcomes.

Requirements

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Arizona OT license (or ability to obtain)
Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain)
Experience with pediatric populations (0–30 years preferred)
Experience or interest in feeding intervention
Experience or interest in sensory integration and developmental delays
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Nice To Haves

Experience with AAC devices is a plus!

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat clients in a clinic-based setting
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, activities of daily living, and functional independence
Adjust plans of care based on client progress and clinical judgment
Educate and collaborate with families and caregivers
Maintain clear, timely documentation
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support whole-person care
