Home Health - Pediatric Occupational Therapist (1099 Contractor)
About The Position
Arbor Therapy is a trusted provider of therapy services across the lifespan, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care throughout Arizona. As they expand into the Maricopa area, they are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their Home Health team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. This role offers clinicians flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to build a caseload that aligns with their schedule and income goals. The company's AAC program is also expanding, and they are particularly interested in clinicians passionate about augmentative and alternative communication and innovative service delivery.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Arizona OT license (or ability to obtain)
- Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within Maricopa and nearby communities
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pediatric populations (0–30 years)
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluations and treatment in home and community-based settings throughout Maricopa and surrounding areas
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Adjust plans of care based on progress and clinical judgment
- Educate and partner with families and caregivers
- Complete timely, concise documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
