Pediatric Dentist - ASC | Part-Time | No Call, Weekends or Holidays
About The Position
The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) network in Pittsburgh, PA, to find a licensed Pediatric Dentist. This role involves joining a collaborative surgical team focused on delivering safe, high-quality, and accessible dental restorative and exodontia surgery for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team including Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical professionals in a close-knit ASC environment. The schedule is part-time, one to two days per week, with no on-call duties, weekends, or holidays.
Requirements
- Licensed Pediatric Dentist with appropriate state dental licensure
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification
- AHA or equivalent PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
Nice To Haves
- National Board Certification strongly preferred
- Comfortable practicing across a range of anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional pediatric patient care
Responsibilities
- Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, high-quality care for pediatric and special needs patients
- Perform dental restorative and exodontia procedures in an ASC setting
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
- Collaborate closely with the anesthesia and surgical team to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain a patient-centered approach focused on safety, quality, and compassionate care
