Pediatric Dentist - ASC | Full -Time | No Call, Weekends or Holidays
About The Position
The Staff Pad is partnering with a pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) network in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, specializing in dental restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The position is part of an experienced, close-knit surgical team that includes dentists, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, registered dental assistants, and other surgical professionals. This is a full-time role scheduled for three or more days per week. The dentist typically treats approximately seven pediatric patients during an operating room day. There is no call, weekend, or holiday work.
Requirements
- Licensed Pediatric Dentist with appropriate state dental licensure.
- Experience treating pediatric patients.
- Current BLS certification.
- Obtain AHA or equivalent PALS certification within six months of hire.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to pediatric dentistry.
Nice To Haves
- National Board Certification is strongly preferred.
- Ability to practice across Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental care for pediatric and special needs patients in an ASC setting.
