About The Position

Charter Oak Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers, including PCAs, HHAs, and CNAs, to provide personalized care to older adults in their homes. The role helps implement care plans and scheduled activities, supports clients’ overall care management, and aims to enhance their quality of life through attentive, compassionate service.

Shifts are available on Saturdays and Sundays, with weekday hours also available. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, with morning and evening options. Caregivers can design a part-time or full-time schedule, with 4–40 hours per week available. Pay is $18–$23 per hour.

Requirements

• Compassion and empathy.
• Ability to use good judgment and remain calm.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide references.

• Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes.
• Help execute comprehensive, personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
• Provide companionship and ongoing social and emotional support.
• Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation.
• Keep client order, safety, and enjoyment top of mind.
• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.
• Document completed tasks and report changes in clients’ conditions.
