About The Position

The Payroll Data Coordinator supports accurate and timely payroll processing while helping improve reporting, variable compensation calculations, and system functionality. The role involves working with large datasets, developing advanced Workday expertise, and finding opportunities to streamline processes through technology and automation. It is an in-office position in Hillsboro, Oregon, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

Experience in payroll, accounting, finance, HR, reporting, or another data-focused role.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulas.
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage recurring deadlines and handle confidential information.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Workday, Power Query, SQL, Python, VBA, Power Automate, or other automation tools.

Responsibilities

Support accurate and timely payroll processing, adjustments, and reconciliations.
Calculate and validate bonuses, commissions, and other variable compensation.
Build and maintain reports using advanced Excel functions, PivotTables, and Power Query.
Analyze large datasets to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Partner with Payroll and HRIS teams to troubleshoot issues and improve Workday functionality.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve existing processes.
