About The Position

The Patient Sitter observes patients assessed as confused, combative, at risk of harming themselves, or at risk of falling. The sitter contacts the staff nurse as appropriate when concerns arise and works under the direct supervision of the nurse responsible for the patient's care. The position is part time, scheduled for two 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

No work experience required.
No licenses or certifications required.
