About The Position

The Patient Sitter works in the Float Pool at Mercy Medical Center. This role is responsible for sitting with and observing patients and their surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent possible injuries. The One to One Patient Observer also assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience. The position is full-time on the night shift at the facility in Aurora, Illinois.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained as current.

• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
