About The Position

The Patient Sitter works in the Float Pool at Mercy Medical Center. The role observes patients and their surroundings to promote safety and prevent possible injuries. The One to One Patient Observer also assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the scope of the sitter’s training and experience. This is a full-time day-shift position at the facility in Aurora, Illinois. The listed compensation range is $15.00 to $20.19; the exact starting compensation depends on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
