About The Position
The Patient Sitter works in the Nursing Float department at Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. The role is scheduled for day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., working three 12-hour shifts. The Patient Sitter observes patients and their surroundings to promote safety and help prevent injuries. The One to One Patient Observer also assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the scope of their training and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained as current.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
