Patient Sitter - Float Pool
About The Position
The Patient Sitter works in the Float Pool at Mercy Medical Center. The role is responsible for sitting with and observing patients and their surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent possible injuries. The One to One Patient Observer assists the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks within the scope of the observer’s training and experience. This is a full-time, day-shift position at Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. The listed compensation range is $15.00 to $20.19. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain current American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire, maintaining it thereafter. Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
Requirements

- Obtain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire and maintain current certification.
