About The Position
UW Medical Center - Radiology Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 3. This is a full-time, regular position with a 100.00% FTE. The role is primarily remote, but requires the employee to be within a 2-hour commute to UW Tower. The position offers convenience with its location near public transportation and the opportunity to make a difference for patients and employees, with potential for career growth.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Two years of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
- Other duties as requested
