Patient Services Specialist/ Radiology Support Services
About The Position
UW Medical Center - Radiology Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 3. This position is a full-time, remote role with a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. The ideal candidate must be within a 2-hour commute to UW Tower. This role offers the chance to make a difference for patients and employees and provides opportunities for career growth. The Patient Services Specialist will be responsible for managing internal and external communications, scheduling appointments, obtaining patient information, and collaborating with the clinic team to ensure patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent AND Two years of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
- Other duties as requested
