About The Position

Work in conjunction with an RN or provider to ensure quality patient care and optimum customer service. Coordinate inpatient and outpatient surgical cases. Provide routine and complex financial counseling to patients, research routine and complex referral and billing issues, and complete routine and complex encounter form coding for all surgical cases.

Requirements

• Health care or insurance experience.
• 1 year of ambulatory practice experience.
• 1 year of experience with ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• 1 year of third-party billing and referrals experience.
• Prior experience in a liaison role for providers and staff.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of comparable experience in an outpatient care setting.
• Experience with Windows, Word, and Excel.
