Patient Services Specialist - per diem
About The Position
The Patient Services Specialist ensures demographic and insurance information is registered accurately and promptly, and coordinates the distribution of patient information to nursing units and ancillary departments. The role ensures patients are pre-registered before their service dates, monitors appointment scheduling programs, and collects patient co-payments. The specialist works side by side with the clinical team in an emergency room setting. Requirements
- Clerical experience.
- In-person professional customer service experience; preference for experience in a health care setting.

- Computer data entry experience.
- Experience with medical terminology.

- Register patient demographic and insurance information accurately and in a timely manner.
