About The Position

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support patients, providers, and insurers and help make the care journey seamless and efficient. The role manages administrative and communication processes, including insurance verification and benefits management, authorization requests, physician referrals, scheduling, and payment reconciliation. The coordinator maintains relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments while following HIPAA guidelines. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m. The pay range is $18–$24 per hour, with compensation influenced by background, experience, and work location and opportunities for salary growth and performance-based incentives.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED at minimum; submission of a diploma for the highest level of education obtained is required.
1–2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Reconcile patient payments and billed units while following HIPAA guidelines.
Follow appropriate processes for insurance verification and/or benefits management.
Obtain authorizations and/or prior authorizations.
Collect over-the-counter payments and reconcile all charges weekly and monthly.
Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.
Coordinate physician referrals and optimize schedules.
