This role involves performing patient reminder calls, assisting with phone calls to schedule or reschedule appointments, and generating no-show letters. The specialist also schedules follow-up appointments, referrals, and ancillary services, manages incoming faxes, completes referral work queues, and ensures patients receive after-visit summaries. Additional duties include collecting copays, managing daily deposits and reconciliation, transcribing orders, entering referral orders, scheduling incoming referrals, completing prior authorizations, and managing the ON Base Patient Documentation Application.
