About The Position

Saint Luke’s Pain Management Clinic in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Service Specialist II to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct. This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • 1 year applicable experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of functions in the medical office involving general duties including but not limited to answering the telephone, communicating messages through email or Epic, greeting, registering and scheduling patient appointments, collecting patient copayments, making appointment reminder calls, verifying insurance and other patient data is accurate, scanning and or uploading patient information to patients electronic chart.
  • Able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals etc.
  • Ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
  • Will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.
