About The Position

American Health Imaging is hiring an entry-level Patient Service Representative to float between its Newnan, Georgia and Fayetteville, Georgia locations. No medical experience is required. This PRN (per diem) role is suited to a customer-service-focused candidate seeking to excel in a medical office setting. The employee must be able to cover all listed shifts: 7 AM–3 PM, 10 AM–6 PM, or 2 PM–10 PM.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in a medical office setting or hospital.
• Ability to handle heavy patient volume.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in authorizations and insurance verification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for diagnostic exams and procedures.
• Assist with authorizations and verifications.
• Check patients in and out.
• Answer multiple phone lines.
• Provide accurate and complete information to the billing office.
• Verify insurance.
• Ensure accuracy of patient data entered into the system.
• Process requests and file patient records.
