About The Position

A non-exempt medical office position responsible for front-office processes in a physician practice at Abrazo Arrowhead Cardio in Glendale, Arizona. New hires are eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience in a hospital or physician office setting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and support the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources, including the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and Corporate Compliance Program.
• Greet patients entering the practice.
• Manage office communications, including answering phones and making, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments.
• Check in patients, collect accurate patient demographics, verify insurance, and enter data into the electronic system.
• Check out patients and assist with referral processing and scheduling.
• Collect co-pays and post charges.
• Process charge entry and patient balances.
• Distribute information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and practice information.
• Explain the patient portal and assist with patient enrollment.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
