About The Position

American Health Imaging is hiring an entry-level Patient Service Representative in Johns Creek, Georgia. The role is suited to a customer-service-focused candidate seeking to excel in a medical office setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Responsibilities include scheduling diagnostic exams and procedures, assisting with authorizations and verifications, checking patients in and out, answering multiple phone lines, communicating accurate and complete information to the billing office, verifying insurance, maintaining accurate patient data in the system, and processing requests and filing patient records.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in a medical office setting or hospital.
• Ability to handle heavy patient volume.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Experience in authorizations and insurance verification.
