American Health Imaging is hiring an entry-level Patient Service Representative in Johns Creek, Georgia. The role is suited to a customer-service-focused candidate seeking to work in a medical office setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in a medical office setting or hospital.
• Ability to handle a heavy patient volume.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with authorizations and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for diagnostic exams and procedures.
• Assist with authorizations and verifications.
• Check patients in and out.
• Answer multiple phone lines.
• Provide accurate and complete information to the billing office.
• Verify insurance.
• Ensure accuracy of patient data entered into the system.
• Process requests and file patient records.
