About The Position

The Patient Service Representative is a key point of contact for patients and provides patients and guests with a positive customer service experience throughout their visit. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position at Suburban Internal Medicine in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior medical office experience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance.
• Collect co-pays.
• Scan and index documents.
• Answer phones and direct calls to the proper office.
• Schedule patients.
• Document information in Electronic Medical Records.
• Open and close the office.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
