About The Position

UW Health is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative for Internal Medicine. The role schedules patient appointments by phone, in person, or through electronic correspondence. The representative responds to incoming calls from patients and families about appointment scheduling, makes outgoing calls to schedule appointments, and coordinates with clinic staff to help ensure patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.

This position is 80% FTE, or 32 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; hours may vary based on clinic operational needs. Pay starts at $19.59 per hour, with relevant work experience considered when determining starting base pay.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of previous experience in an office or customer service environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or another related field.
• Previous experience working in healthcare.
• Previous experience scheduling patients.
• Previous experience answering phones and greeting clients or customers in person.
