About The Position

CLS Health is a growing, physician-led healthcare system in Houston, Texas, focused on holistic, multispecialty care. The Patient Service Representative serves as a first point of contact for patients and provides courteous customer service, coordinates financial responsibilities, and helps ensure a positive experience at the facility. The role may require travel to other CLS Health locations and includes administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a medical office or customer service environment.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
Collect co-pays and other fees at the time of service.
Ensure referrals are in the patient's chart before the appointment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Count the cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms; sign off on the EBO report and cash reconciliation after closing.
Handle patient complaints and resolve issues professionally.
Travel to other CLS Health locations.
Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
