About The Position

Granger Medical Clinic is hiring a full-time Patient Services Representative for its West Valley clinic. The role provides front-desk check-in for multiple practices, including Internal Medicine, ENT, Neurology, Allergy, and Vision. Patient Service Representatives work with patients, physicians, and support staff to support patient care. As a first point of contact, the representative is expected to provide compassionate service and communicate effectively. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with pay of $15–$18 per hour.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Typing and keyboarding skills.
Must be a team player and enjoy working with people.
Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English.
Able to perform sedentary work requiring lifting up to 10 pounds and repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.

Nice To Haves

Previous medical billing or office experience.
Customer service experience.
Additional language skills.

Responsibilities

Greet patients presenting for medical or other services in a courteous manner.
Answer telephones professionally.
Schedule appointments according to established procedures.
Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, with physicians, clinic staff, and patients about appointment scheduling and other needs.
Record demographic information needed to contact patients and/or bill insurance carriers for services provided.
Perform other duties as assigned.
