About The Position
The Patient Safety Tech Float position is a part-time role (24 hours per week, 0.6 FTE) with 8-hour shifts from 7 am to 3:30 pm. This role operates within the Emergency Department and requires rotating weekend and holiday schedules. The position is classified as Nonexempt under FLSA.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment with excellent organizational, customer service and prioritization skills required.
- CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Prior healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Float between different areas as needed.
- Provide patient safety support.
- Assist with patient care tasks as directed.
