About The Position

CareNow is seeking a Patient Representative to support the patient experience at its urgent care clinic. The role provides front-desk and administrative support, including patient check-in, insurance verification, handling clinic calls, ensuring paperwork is complete, and documenting payments. The position requires flexibility to work within the clinic’s operating hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–9 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Requirements

• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
• Flexibility to work during the clinic’s operating hours, including hours across weekdays and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely manner.
• Follow all Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls, provide information, or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance accurately and promptly.
• Follow occupational clients’ preference cards and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and collect necessary insurance and demographic information.
• Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.
