About The Position

MD Now is seeking a Patient Representative to support the patient experience at its urgent care clinics. The role handles patient check-in, insurance verification, clinic calls, paperwork, and payment documentation, while helping ensure occupational health clients’ preferences and procedures are followed. The position may involve travel or floating between MD Now locations within an assigned area; this is preferred. MD Now is owned and operated by HCA Healthcare and provides urgent care and occupational health services.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting.
One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
Willingness to travel or float between MD Now locations within the assigned area is preferred.

Responsibilities

Check in patients in a timely manner.
Follow all Web Check-in procedures.
Answer clinic phone calls, provide information, or refer questions as needed.
Verify insurance accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow occupational clients’ preference cards and occupational procedures.
Review patient paperwork for completeness and ensure required insurance and demographic information is collected.
Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.
