About The Position

MD Now, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Representative to support patient care at its urgent care clinics. The role handles patient check-in, insurance verification, clinic phone inquiries, paperwork, occupational client procedures, and shift-end payment reconciliation. Clinic hours are Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; candidates must be flexible to work during those hours and willing to travel to other area clinics for scheduling purposes.

Requirements

• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
• Flexibility to work during clinic hours, Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics in the area for scheduling purposes.

• One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely manner.
• Follow all Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls, provide information, or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance accurately and promptly.
• Follow occupational clients’ preference cards and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and ensure necessary insurance and demographic information is collected.
• Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.
