About The Position

MD Now, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Representative to support patient care at its urgent care clinics. The clinics are open Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the role requires flexibility to work during those hours. The representative checks in patients, handles calls and insurance verification, ensures paperwork and occupational health procedures are completed, and documents daily payment balances. The position may require travel to other area clinics for scheduling purposes.

Requirements

• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
• Flexibility to work within clinic hours of Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics in the area for scheduling purposes.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely manner.
• Follow all Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls, provide information, or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow occupational clients’ preference cards and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and ensure necessary insurance and demographic information is collected.
• Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.
