About The Position

MD Now, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Representative to support patient care at its urgent care clinics. MD Now clinic hours are Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the position requires flexibility to work during those hours. The role involves checking in patients, handling calls and insurance verification, ensuring patient and occupational health paperwork is complete, and reconciling payment documentation after each shift. The representative may need to travel to other area clinics for scheduling purposes.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics in the area for scheduling purposes.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely manner and follow all Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls, provide information, and refer questions to others as needed.
• Verify insurance accurately and promptly.
• Follow occupational clients’ preference cards and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and ensure required insurance and demographic information is collected.
• Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.
