About The Position

CareNow is seeking a Patient Representative to support patient care at its urgent care clinics. The role involves checking in patients, following Web Check-in procedures, answering clinic phone calls, verifying insurance, supporting occupational clients, reviewing patient paperwork, and reconciling payment documentation. The position requires flexibility to work during clinic operating hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely manner.
• Follow all Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls, provide information, or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance accurately and promptly.
• Follow occupational clients’ preference cards and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and ensure required insurance and demographic information is collected.
• Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.
