About The Position

The Patient Registration Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients at Good Samaritan University Hospital’s Level II Trauma Center. The role involves rapidly registering patients, verifying insurance, answering urgent questions with empathy, and helping provide a compassionate start to care.

The representative uses Cadence to manage high-volume patient arrivals and ensure clinical teams have accurate information. The position also handles cash posting, scanning, and demographic verification in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable working under pressure, staying organized during busy periods, and caring for people.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Accurate typing speed of 40–60 words per minute.
• Data entry speed of 5,000 keystrokes per hour.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and stay organized during chaos.
• Demonstrated care for people.
