Patient Navigator
About The Position
Open Fertility is seeking a Patient Navigator to partner with the Care Team and nursing team to help patients navigate fertility treatment. The role provides patients with the information they need to approach their treatment cycle with confidence and simplifies a potentially difficult and confusing process to support a seamless transition to the nursing team for cycle management. This is a full-time, non-exempt, onsite position requiring early hours and rotational weekends and holidays. The starting salary range is $23–$28; salary is based on job-related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and/or degrees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Passion for reproductive healthcare.
- Exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Generate journey maps and calendars based on treatment plans.
- Facilitate, track, and document completion of tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Develop trust and positive rapport with all new patients.
- Explain complex medical processes and terms in a digestible manner.
- Monitor patient compliance and readiness for treatment.
- Schedule appointments.
