About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead the Patient Services Team in an acute care setting. The manager oversees patient food services, develops the team, supports patient satisfaction, and ensures services meet medical direction, dietary requirements, and applicable regulatory and facility policies.

Requirements

• Associate degree and one year of work experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service technology, management, or a related field.
• Possess skills to effectively use Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian credential.
• At least one year of food service management experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food service needs based on medical direction and the patient population.
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members.
• Ensure special or modified diets comply with dietary restrictions while accommodating patient food preferences within diet-order limitations.
• Ensure patient services staff work toward stated patient satisfaction goals.
• Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements, as well as facility confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
• Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
