About The Position

Onco360, a leading oncology pharmacy, is hiring a remote, full-time Patient Financial Advocacy Coordinator. The role assists patients and families in accessing financial resources for pharmacy co-pays, including assistance through nonprofit organizations and manufacturer programs. The coordinator identifies resources that fit each patient’s needs, explains the process, helps complete applications, and reviews the documents required to submit them. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour and up. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to employees who start before December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) credential.
• At least 3 years of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Use first-call resolution to help patients and families secure financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.
• Maintain working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses, and drugs used in treatment.
• Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.
• Clearly explain insurance benefits and co-pay structures.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service.
• Help patients and families identify financial resources, understand application processes, complete applications, and gather required documents.
