About The Position

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Patient Financial Advocacy Coordinator to help patients and families access financial resources for pharmacy co-pays. The coordinator assists patients who may qualify for help through nonprofit organizations and manufacturer programs, identifies resources suited to patients’ needs, explains the process, helps complete applications, and reviews the documents required for applications.

This is a remote, full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour and up. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to employees who start before December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy, as required by state law.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
• At least 3 years of patient assistance or advocacy experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice first-call resolution to help patients and families secure financial assistance for pharmacy co-pays.
• Maintain working knowledge of health insurance and pharmacy benefit coverage, cancer diagnoses, and drugs used in treatment.
• Support applications for nonprofit and manufacturer assistance programs.
• Explain insurance benefits and co-pay structures clearly.
• Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in CPR+.
• Collaborate with pharmacy operations and cross-functional teams to provide seamless service.
• Help patients identify appropriate financial resources, understand application steps, complete applications, and review required documents.
