About The Position
As a Patient Care Technician at Franciscan Health, you perform delegated patient care activities and spend significant time with patients. You help build trust, provide comfort, and support recovery through compassionate, person-centered care. You work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals throughout the hospital and gain exposure to a variety of patient populations and care environments. The role offers direct, hands-on patient care in a supportive, team-focused environment, with opportunities to learn from skilled healthcare professionals. Night-shift opportunities are available. Minimum starting pay is $18.50. Travel is required never or rarely. Requirements
- Nursing student who has completed the first semester of clinicals.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Prior Patient Care Technician experience in another acute-care healthcare organization.
- Completion of the Franciscan PCT In-training program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association; Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
