About The Position
As a Patient Care Technician at Franciscan Health, you’ll perform delegated patient care activities. You are among the caregivers who spend the most time with patients, helping build trust, provide comfort, and support recovery through compassionate, person-centered care. Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals throughout the hospital, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of patient populations and care environments. This position is located at Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus in Indianapolis, Indiana. Night shift opportunities are available. The role involves direct, hands-on patient care in a supportive, team-focused environment, with opportunities to learn from skilled healthcare professionals. Minimum starting pay is $18.50. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Must have an active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license through the State of Indiana, prior Patient Care Technician experience in an acute care health care organization, completion of the first semester of clinicals as a nursing student, or completion of the Franciscan PCT Training Program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed.
