About The Position
As a Patient Care Technician at Franciscan Health, you perform delegated patient care activities and spend significant time with patients. You help build trust, provide comfort, and support recovery through compassionate, person-centered care. You work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals throughout the hospital, with exposure to a variety of patient populations and care environments. This is a resource position at Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus. The posting lists 0.9 FTE and says night-shift opportunities are available. The minimum starting pay is $18.50. Travel is required never or rarely.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Prior PCT experience in another acute-care healthcare organization.
- Completion of the Franciscan PCT In-training program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association. Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Nursing student who has completed the first semester of clinicals.
