About The Position
As a Patient Care Technician at Franciscan Health, you will perform delegated patient care activities and provide compassionate, person-centered care. Patient Care Technicians spend substantial time with patients, helping build trust, provide comfort, and support recovery. You will work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals throughout the hospital and gain exposure to a variety of patient populations and care environments. Requirements
- Have an active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license through the State of Indiana, or prior Patient Care Technician experience in an acute care health care organization, or be a nursing student who has completed the first semester of clinicals, or have completed the Franciscan PCT Training Program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed.
