About The Position

Lakes Regional Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Supervisor to join its patient care leadership team in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The supervisor provides direct supervision of staff and monitors department and shift flow to ensure quality patient care throughout the hospital. The role ensures adequate staffing in all nursing areas to meet patient needs and demonstrates strong leadership by serving as a positive role model, leading by example, and empowering employees to achieve successful outcomes. In addition to supervisory duties, the Patient Care Supervisor maintains clinical responsibilities as a registered nurse, providing direct patient care and assisting staff. Lakes Regional Healthcare is a multidisciplinary healthcare facility serving the Iowa Great Lakes region. Its services include acute and critical care, obstetrics, outpatient surgery, imaging and radiology, emergency and laboratory services, visiting physician clinics, and primary care clinics.

Requirements

Registered Nurse degree.
Current RN license to practice in the State of Iowa.
Current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and Mandatory Reporting of Adult/Child Abuse, or willingness to obtain these certifications in accordance with the Education Policy.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
One year of nursing management experience preferred.
Three to five years of Medical-Surgical staff RN experience.
