About The Position

Lakes Regional Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Supervisor to join its patient care leadership team in a patient-focused healthcare setting. The role directly supervises staff and monitors department and shift flow to help ensure quality patient care throughout the hospital, including ensuring adequate staffing across nursing areas. The supervisor is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, serve as a positive role model, lead by example, and empower employees to achieve successful outcomes. Alongside supervisory responsibilities, the position maintains clinical duties as a registered nurse, providing direct patient care and assisting staff. Lakes Regional Healthcare is a growing healthcare facility in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Its services include acute and critical inpatient care, obstetrics, outpatient surgery, imaging and radiology, emergency and laboratory services, visiting physician clinics, and primary care clinics. The facility is located in the Iowa Great Lakes region.

Requirements

Registered Nurse degree required.
Current RN license to practice in the State of Iowa required.
Currently certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and Mandatory Reporting of Adult/Child Abuse, or willingness to obtain certifications in accordance with the Education Policy.
Three to five years of Medical-Surgical staff RN experience.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
One year of nursing management experience preferred.
