About The Position

42 North Dental is hiring a Patient Care Representative (Dental Receptionist) to provide administrative support and facilitate the relationship between patients and dentists at Hill and Hill White Plains in White Plains, New York. The role is the front line of patient communication and supports the administrative functions involved in dental care, with an emphasis on exceptional patient service, quality, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in a positive, professional manner by telephone and in person.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Review and educate patients about treatment plans and financial responsibilities.
• Confirm insurance benefits and communicate and collect patients’ payment obligations.
• Maintain and manage patient records from initial forms and paperwork through billing, entering patient information accurately.
• Respond to and reply to requests for information.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
