About The Position

Mountain Land Physical Therapy is hiring a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy Patient Care Coordinator for an outpatient physical therapy clinic in St. George, Utah. This patient-facing front desk role manages scheduling and payment collection while helping create a welcoming, efficient experience from check-in through check-out. Complete training and mentorship are provided, making the role suitable for both experienced front office candidates and people new to healthcare.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday during clinic hours, at 2515 South River Road, Suite 101, St. George, UT 84790. The pay range is $17–$19 per hour. The interview process consists of an online application, a 20–25-minute virtual interview with the Front Office Trainer, a 30–45-minute in-person interview with the team, and an offer and training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, professional communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced clinic.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented, professional demeanor.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

• Front office, medical receptionist, hospitality, retail, customer service, or office experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
• Manage provider schedules using scheduling software.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and private payments at the time of service.
• Answer phones and respond to emails with excellent customer service.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in patient interactions.
• Keep the front desk and waiting area organized, efficient, and welcoming.
• Assist with administrative tasks and update patient information accurately as needed.
