About The Position

Aubin Aphasia Speech and Language Center is a collaborative outpatient speech-language pathology practice dedicated to helping children and adults achieve meaningful communication. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate, individualized care while creating a welcoming environment for every family who walks through our doors. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the welcoming face of our clinic during afternoon hours. This position plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for patients and families while helping maintain full therapist and tutoring schedules through excellent communication and relationship-building. The ideal candidate enjoys talking with people, is comfortable making outbound phone calls, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where customer service and organization are equally important.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, tutoring families, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Answer phones and respond to general inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist with scheduling and appointment changes.
  • Support clinicians with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Make outbound calls to tutoring families to check in on their experience.
  • Build relationships with families and answer general questions.
  • Identify scheduling opportunities and help fill available tutoring appointments.
  • Follow up with families who have missed appointments or paused services.
  • Maintain accurate communication notes within the scheduling system.
  • Help maximize clinician schedules through proactive outreach.
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining patient records.
  • Coordinate paperwork and intake documents.
  • Support special projects and community events as assigned.
  • Help ensure smooth daily clinic operations.
