About The Position

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) is an integral member of a patient-care team that includes Registered Nurses. The PCA provides patient care and supportive services directed toward achieving patient-care outcomes, maximizing patients’ involvement in their plans of care, improving service levels, and reducing costs. The role supports a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm, and mutual respect, and contributes to patient-focused care for patients and their families.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Successful completion of a PCA training course after hire.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous patient-care experience in an acute-care hospital setting preferred.
